Nicki Minaj is being sued by her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels and he is gunning for a big chunk of her fortune.
TMZ first reported the story on Monday claiming that Safaree has lawyered up to fight Nicki Minaj in court for his share of the pie.

He is claiming that he was heavily involved in the production of three of her albums, Pink Friday, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, and The PinkPrint.
Safaree also claims that he contributed to several of Nicki Minaj’s biggest hit singles including “Flawless (Remix),” “Feeling Myself,” and “Only.” He is gearing up to provide the courts with a boatload of evidence to support his claims including eyewitnesses who were in the studio with them, voicenotes, and video from some of their studio sessions.
Safaree Samuele executive produced two of Nicki Minaj’s albums before their bitter split last year. He has long maintained that he wrote rap lyrics for her, a claim that he has denied.
