Travis Scott is one of the hottest young rapper’s in the game right now with his new album Rodeo moving big numbers and to top it off he is dating Rihanna.
There is one other rapper that Scott look up to and that is Kanye West who he calls his stepdad.
Speaking with Billboard magazine, Travis Scott reveal that Ye is working on a new album and also praise the G.O.O.D. Music rapper for making God-level music.
“That n***a is so ready; he’s coming with some sh** soon,” the “3500” rapper said. “His album is crazy. I’m glad that n***a finally broke the code with Yeezus to make God-level music which is ill as f***, bro. It’s super raunchy. He’s like my stepdad. We always had that relationship where we cook up ideas. We [talk] all the time about random sh**: life and how we can do better as people and as rock stars.”
Travis also said that he spent some time with Kanye West at his house before dropping his album Rodeo where they listen to it over and over.
I’m not sure what “god” he’s referring to as far as Kanye’s music-level, but it’s sure not the same God that is in the Bible. If he read the Bible he would know that God would not approve of what Kanye does or raps about. Kanye calls himself a Christian (which means to be Christ Like) but he is far from being a Christian. He even puts his own wife out on display (naked) and praises her for it. That’s not very Christian (neither one of them).
