Beyonce Performs Medley 2014 VMAs, Received Lifetime Achievement Award

Beyonce shows us why she is the queen of pop when she performed a medley of her latest album at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Beyonce stunned the music world when she released her latest self-titled album abruptly on December 13, 2013. Every song on the album has its own music video.

At the 2014 MTV VMAs, Beyonce took control of the stage when she performed a medley from the album BEYONCÉ.

“This one is for my incredible fans,” Beyonce told the audience. “If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be on this stage.”

Beyonce also received the 2014 Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Her husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy Carter took the stage to hand her the award.

Other music icons who received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award in the past includes, Madonna, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Beastie Boys, R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Michael Jackson.

“The recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and the greatest living entertainer on earth Beyonce,” Jay Z said.
