After 20 years Nas serves up the video for his single “Represent,” off his classic album Illmatic.
The video came together after the rap legend held a contest among his fans to create a visual for the classic single. The contestant winner, Brain Katz, co-directed the final cut with Jason Goldwatch of Mass Appeal Records.

“As someone who has had Illmatic in heavy rotation for the past 20 years, the opportunity to represent as a true fan in sharing my vision with Nas and have Jason Goldwatch help bring that vision to reality is proof positive that indeed ‘The World Is Yours,’” Katz said.
Nas recently release Illmatic XX to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the classic album. The new album features freestyles, unreleased singles, and remixes.
