Tommy Lee Taking Dominica To Court Over Deportation

Tommy Lee Sparta is one of the first dancehall artists to be deported from another country in recent times.

But the Guzu Musiq deejay is taking the Dominican government to court after being deported from the Caribbean island in February.

Tommy Lee, whose real name is Leroy Russell, along with three members of his entourage were deported from Dominica on February 24 this year just hours after arriving in the country for a concert.

Authorities in Dominica says the 26 year-old dancehall star posed a security risk to the country.

But Tommy Lee’s lawyer Burt Samuels says that total BS and has filed documents in the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) to force the Dominican government to compensate the artist.

You may recall Tommy Lee complained bitterly about the harsh condition of the jail cell he was kept in overnight such as sleeping on cold concrete.
