Alkaline Donates $200K To Cancer Patients

Perhaps Alkaline is feeling very generous or perhaps he is doing some damage control following a fallout in dancehall circles over that infamous batty wash line.

Regardless of the reasons behind his huge donation of $200,000 to two cancer patients in Jamaica, it is still a good gesture of kindless from the young dancehall act.

In a statement to the media, Alkaline says he wanted to know what it felt like to show some kindness to other folks.

The two cancer patients who received the gift are very grateful today.

In other Alkaline news, the “Things Mi Love” deejay is gearing up for a major performance at this summer’s Reggae Sumfest dancehall night on July 17 in Montego Bay.
