Lil Wayne was the first big name rapper to see the star in Nicki Minaj long before the world became aware of her.
Years after signing her to YMCMB, Lil Wayne says he is still in awe with her talent.

Speaking with MTV News, Lil Wayne says Nicki Minaj’s new male bashing song “Lookin Ass” on the new Young Money compilation album Rise of an Empire is the new female club anthem.
“It’s either that song that’s making ‘em feel good or that new Beyoncé song,” Weezy told MTV. “But that’s what Nicki does. I mean, she never fails to amaze me with anything she do.”
Lil Wayne says he also pushed her to even raise the bar higher.
Nicki Minaj is currently working on her new album, due later this year.
