Tessanne Chin Talks Her Journey To The Voice Final [VIDEO]

Tessanne Chin has had an amazing journey on The Voice 2013 that saw her leaving from a reggae singer in Jamaica to a household name worldwide.

In a special segment on NBC, Tessanne Chin opened up about her journey from the thought of auditioning to the final of the Emmy-winning talent show.

“Before the blind audition I was singing background vocals for Mr. Jimmy Cliff in Jamaica,” Tessanne Chin said. “When all four judges turned around I was proud because I felt like this is my chance to be a solo artist. Working with Adam I definitely feel closer to being the artists that I want to be.”

Her coach Adam Levine also had some kind words for Tessanne Chin.

“She is a flawless singer and I believe in her as a person and also as a vocalist,” Levine said.

Tessanne also met Adam’s mother, who admitted that she cried watching her performed.

Tessanne Chin will be making her final bid for the grand prize of a recording contract and a $100,000 cash prize on The Voice 2013 tonight.
