Reggae Boy Ian ‘Pepe’ Goodison Release On Bail After Arrest

Former Reggae Boys player Ian ‘Pepe’ Goodison was released on bail earlier this week after he was arrested in the U.K. for his alleged involvement in match fixing.

Goodison, who played international football for Jamaica between 1996 and 2009, was one of six men taken into custody on Sunday for allegedly paying league players to get red and yellow cards.

Pepe Goodison was instrumental in the Jamaican team historic qualification into the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France.

He now plays football for Tranmere Rovers in England.
