The court is now selecting the panel of jury as Kartel and his co-accused looks on.

Kartel’s protege Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, Stylist Calvin “Moonie” Haye, and Shane Williams were also charged with Williams’ murder.

Vybz Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, was arrested in September of 2011 and charged with the murder of Barrington “Bossie” Burton and Clive Williams. In July of this year he was acquitted of Burton’s murder.

Investigators say Vybz Kartel and his co-accused beat Williams to death on August 16, 2011, at a home in Havendale, St. Andrew.

Police say they have a mountain of evidence against the six men charged for Williams’ murder including video footage and text messages.

Authorities are yet to recover Clive Williams body.
