Patrick “Roach” Samuels maybe gone but his memory and contribution to dancehall will never be forgotten.
The famed producer was gunned down on September 15 in Kingston. The motive for his killing is still unknown.

Patrick Roach is a former road manager for Vybz Kartel, but the two had a bitter fallout a few years ago.
In a rare interview with Winford Williams in 2008, Patrick Roach says Vybz Kartel did help to highlight his career in music.
“He highlight my name,” Patrick Roach said.
Patrick Roach also opened up about growing up in South Side in Downtown Kingston before launching a career as a deejay and a producer.
