Sean Kingston Settles Gang Rape Accuser Lawsuit

Sean Kingston paid his accuser a hefty sum to make a lawsuit go away.

Yesterday Urban Islandz reported that Carissa Capeloto sued Sean Kingston, his body guard and a member of his band for allegedly gang raping her in his hotel room in 2010 while she was drunk.

Now TMZ is reporting that the reggae pop star made an out of court settlement with Carissa Capeloto.

Sources say Sean Kingston is not admitting guilt by settling the suit out of court. But believes it would take away his attention from his upcoming album and tour.

The singer reportedly paid only a fraction of the $5 million Carissa Capeloto was asking for in her lawsuit.

Kingston believes he would have won the suit.

“Her story wasn’t consistent,” sources say. “She told various stories throughout her interviews with police. Her friend’s story wasn’t consistent with hers. The medical report had no indications of force.”

Sean Kingston did not deny having sex with the female, but says it was 100% consensual.
