Wayne Marshall Talks Going Hard At Sumfest, Newborn & More [VIDEO]

Wayne Marshall was not billed on the lineup for this year’s Reggae Sumfest but his name will be remembered for something great.

During Damian “Junior Gong” Marley’s set on International Night he called on Wayne Marshall, Aidonia, and Agent Sasco to perform one of this year’s biggest dancehall hits “Go Hard.”

Wayne Marshall, who is the brain child behind the single, sat down with Winford Williams of OnStage to relive the moment and discuss its creation.

“Just from the rehearsals we got a little insight into what the moment would be,” Wayne Marshall said. “We did the rehearsals at Tuff Gong with around 20 to 30 people watching like family and friends and every time we go into that song the whole energy in the room would transform.”

The “Go Hard” singjay also open up about recording the song at King Jammy’s studio where his career was launched.

Wayne Marshall also opened up about his and Tami Chynn newborn baby boy.
