The beef between the two rap heavy weights are coming from 2011 when Jay-Z subliminally took shots at Cash Money honcho Birdman, who is also known as baby, on a collaboration with Kanye West titled “H.A.M.”

“I’m like, ‘Really, half-a-billi?’ / Ni–a, really, you got baby money / Keep it real with ni–as, ni–as ain’t got my lady money,” Jay-Z raps.

Lil Wayne took offense and respond to Jay-Z in a single “I’m Good” off his album Tha Carter IV.

“I got your baby money / Kidnap your bi–h, get that how much you love your lady money,” Weezy rhyme.

Although nothing has happened since 2011, Jay-Z has not forgotten about that line about his wife Beyonce.

The Roc Nation head hit back at Lil Wayne on a new single “La Familia” off his new album Magna Carta Holy Grail.

According to Jay-Z, he is ready for the war.

“Wanna kidnap wifey / Good luck with that bruh / You must gonna hide your whole family / What you think we wearing black for / Ready for that war / Ready for that war ready / You ain’t ready, yo, you radio,” Jay-Z rap over a bass heavy beat.
