No Bail For Shawn Storm, Set To Go On Trial With Kartel

Vybz Kartel protege Shawn Storm was denied bail in the Home Circuit Court yesterday.

Vybz Kartel, whose government name is Adidja Palmer, was jointly charged for Clive Williams murder along with Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John, Calvin “Moonie” Haye, and Shane Williams.

Vybz Kartel Optimistic He Will Be Free Despite Trial Delays

Shawn Storm lawyer Michael Lorne made an application for bail yesterday arguing that the defense has no evidence linking the dancehall star to Williams’ murder.

However, Justice Sarah Thompson James denied the bail application saying there has been no change in circumstances.

The judge however set a $500,000 bail for Shane Williams with conditions that he be home between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. and report to the Waterford Police Station daily.

Vybz Kartel Trial: Witness Not Cooperating With Authorities

Vybz Kartel and his co-accused go on trial on November 18 for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.

According to police report, Williams was murdered at a home in Havendale on August 16, 2011 over a missing firearm.
