Miss Jamaica World 2013 Announces Stewarts Auto Sales As Title Sponsors

The organisers of the Miss Jamaica World Beauty Pageant have announced that Stewarts Auto Sales Limited has acquired the title sponsor position for this year’s staging of the competition.

Laura Butler, Pageant Manager explained her exuberance regarding the association. “The Miss Jamaica World Pageant has always upheld excellence and quality as the basic standard of all aspects of the competition. This year, we are raising the bar and are indeed happy that a sponsor such as Stewarts who shares our vision of overachieving is on board in a big way.”

A 2013 Suzuki Kizashi valued at J$4.55M – to be awarded to the winner of the competition – amasses a significant portion of the overall sponsorship value. The remaining value is to be accredited to the use of a fleet of vehicles throughout the period of the pageant as well as a cash incentive.

Stewart’s Auto Sales Ltd. is the exclusive dealer of Suzuki, Mitsubishi and Honda Motorcycles as well as operators of Budget Rent-a-Car. The company, founded in 1938 is a part of the Stewart’s Automotive Group. The Group is also the only authorized dealer in Jamaica of luxury brands BMW and MINI Cooper, making up Stewart Motors.

Among the other incentives for this year’s 20 finalists are an intense training package from Fusion Consulting Limited as well as full educational scholarships with a total value of J$5M. Degrees will be offered through University College of the Caribbean, University of London and Kursk State Medical University.

Eliminations for the finals will take place in Kingston on Saturday June 15; with the Grand Coronation Show taking place on Sunday, July 21 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.
