More and more dancehall artists are giving back to their community.
Dancehall star Popcaan donated JM$50,000 to Sizzla Kalonji’s Youth Foundation last year. The two deejays were performed at a recent show when Sizzla took time out to thank Popcaan for his donation.

“Before Popcaan leave, come here youth,” Sizzla said, inviting Popcaan back on stage. “Popcaan is one of the first youth to contribute to Sizzla Youth Foundation $50,000 so big up the youth.”
In a recent interview, Popcaan says giving is a blessing for him.

“Giving is my blessing. To whom much is given, much is expected,” Popcaan said.
