Nicki Minaj Talks Direction Of Next Album, Will Be The Re-Up Sequel

Nicki Minaj latest album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up only sold a disappointing 36,000 copies in its first weeks. But the Young Money rapper is not already moving on to the next.

During a recent interview with Fuse, the “Freedom” rapper says her next album will be a continuation of The Re-Up.

“I have a lot more to say,” Nicki Minaj said. “Production-wise, I love where The Re-Up is going and I want to continue down that path and I want to add on to that musically.”

Minaj also talked about future collaborations with other artists.

“I’ve worked with so many amazing people and thank them again for giving me the opportunity,” Minaj said. “I feel like at this point, it doesn’t matter. I feel like whoever I’m meant to work with, I’ll work with them. It’s out of my hands, it’s out of my control now in terms of who I want to work with. I think it’s just about the right time and the right chemistry.”

The American Idol judge is currently performing around the world for her Pink Friday: Reloaded tour.
