Sean Paul Wins 2012 MOBO Awards For Best Reggae Act

Reggae/dancehall superstar Sean Paul won the 2012 Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Award for Best Reggae Act.

Sean Paul could not be at the awards ceremony to accept his award because he is currently on tour in India promoting his latest album Tomahawk Technique.

On Saturday night stars flock the Echo Arena in Liverpool for the annual MOBO Awards. Among the celebrities in attendance were Trey Songz, Plan B, and T-Boz and Chilli from TLC.

Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj was also a big winner, taking home the award for Best International Act. ROc Nation singer Rita Ora won Best Newcomer, while TLC was honored with the Outstanding Contribution to Music award.
