Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce Talks Winning Gold On BET 106 & Park [Video]

Jamaican sprint queen Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce stopped by BET’s 106 & Park last week where she opens up about winning gold at this summer’s London Olympic Games.

“2012 was great, you know the hard work and the dedication and of course you get to keep your body in good shape so why not,” Shelly-Ann told host Rocsi Diaz.

In 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Fraser Pryce became the first Caribbean woman to win an Olympic 100 meter gold medal and four years later she became the first female to successful defend her Olympic gold medal.

“I listen to a lot of Lauryn Hill and of course Jamaican artists such as Etana,” Shelly-Ann said about preparing for her races.
