Vybz Kartel Conspiracy Trial Pushed Back To November 12

Incarcerated dancehall star Vybz Kartel and his co-accused in his conspiracy charge will be going on trial starting November 12.

The self proclaim Worl’Boss, and his co-accused Gaza Slim, real name Vanessa Saddler, and Pim-Pim, whose real name is Andre Henry, were schedule to go on trial on Wednesday (August 29th), however, the date was pushed back due to the absence of the presiding judge, as well as, the non-disclosure of statements to the defense.

Pim-Pim and Gaza Slim, who are out on bail, had their bail extended, however, Vybz Kartel was remanded into custody.

All three accused are charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice stemming from an incident from last year November.

According to police report, Gaza Slim filed a false report to the Constant Spring police station claiming that she was robbed at gunpoint by Clive Williams, the man Kartel is charged with murdering. Police sources revealed that she filed the report under instruction from Vybz Kartel and Pim-Pim.

Detectives say they are in possession of a cell phone with text messages instructing her to carry out the devious act.

Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is also facing another murder charge in the death of St. Catherine businessman Barrington “Bossie” Burton. His murder trial is schedule for October.
