Lady Saw is not dancehall queen by chance and she proves that last Thursday night at Reggae Sumfest dancehall night.

Marion Hall, affectionately called Lady Saw, was in fine form when she hit reggae music’s biggest stage on July 19th at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex in Montego Bay. The dancehall diva turned up the tempo with several of her classic hits.

The biggest honor of the night also went to Lady Saw, who was honored by Summerfest Production for her outstanding contribution to Jamaican music and popular culture.

While accepting her honor, Lady Saw shout out to all the other female artistes carrying to banner of female dancehall.

“Big up all the females, sometimes we quarrel but we affi give them their dues,” Lady Saw said before hailing Tanya Stephens as one of the “baddest thing” in female dancehall.

Lady Saw also hinted that she might be pregnant, while making fun of recent rumors involving her man John John.

At the end of her set fans were very pleased.
