Khago could be dancehall’s next big star.

Reggae/dancehall star Khago has inked a booking and production deal with independent label Down Sound Records.

The label’s head, Josef Bogdanovich, says Khago could be the next big act out of Jamaica given his crossover appeal and work ethics.

“He can be the next big artiste out of Jamaica because of his crossover appeal and his wonderful work ethic which is on par with that of a Vybz Kartel,” Bogdanovich said.

“We are marketing him as one of the future stars of dancehall music,” Bogdanovich added.

Khago recently saw a huge increase in bookings partly due to his heated lyrical feud with dancehall veterans Sizzla Kalonji and Agent Sasco.

The deejay claimed that he has been receiving death threats from persons align to Sizzla.
