Kim Kardashian has for the first time open up about her relationship with new boyfriend Kanye West on “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”
“Is Kanye West the new fairy tale?” Oprah asked Kim during the interview.
“We met maybe almost a decade ago,” Kim told Oprah. “I’ve known him for a really long time. We’ve been friends for like six or seven years. It’s very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you, that respects you, understands, has gone through similar things.”
Kim Kardashian says they can relate to each other in more ways than one.
“I can really relate to his mother passing. He can really relate to my father passing. There’s so many similarities in our lives. I feel like I’m at a really happy good space. I don’t know why it took so long for us to get together, but I think I needed to go through all my experiences and some that he’s gone through.”
The 31-year-old reality star also opens up about her failed marriage with Kris Humphries and why she ended it in only 72 days.
