Busy Signal Collaborates With No Doubt On “Push And Shove”

Months after announcing their comeback album, Rock band No Doubt has collaborated with dancehall star Busy Signal on the album’s lead single “Push and Shove.”

The group upcoming album is their first in over 11 years and is set to be released on September 25th of this year.

In a webisode posted on Youtube, Gwen Stefani said they got in contact with Diplo of Major Lazer and he played the track for them and they loved it.

Busy Signal said working with the group was great.

“Sometimes you can’t really explain the vibe to how it just glorious in terms of the music and the ideas and the creativity,” Busy told the Star. “When everybody just a come up with their different parts and different ideas and we just sharing them. It’s definitely a good thing to look out for. Busy Signal, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani – it’s just great.”

“I’m just here giving thanks for the blessings and just a continue to do the work that I’m doing because it’s showing that the people outside of Jamaica who really know the real thing, them come and them choose who they think is qualified to even be in studio collaborating with them,” Busy Signal added.

No Doubt has in the past worked with Dancehall legends Bounty Killer (Hey Baby) and Lady Saw (Underneath It All). The collaborations won the group two Grammy awards in 2001 and 2004.

Busy Signal is looking to reap the same success with the band.
