Bounty Killer Granted Bereavement Break In Ganja Trial

Dancehall legend Bounty Killer was granted a major break in his ganja trial in light of his mother’s death. Killer’s mother, Miss Ivy Williams, died on February 26.

The Corporate Area Resident Magistrate Court granted the entertainer bereavement leave when he appeared in court on Wednesday (Mar 14).

The Alliance deejay was arrested in October 2010 after he was seen smoking what appears to be marijuana. According to police reports, they found a small quantity of the illegal drug after conducting a search of the deejay.

Bounty Killer is schedule to appear in court on June 6.

Miss Ivy was laid to rest today at a funeral service held at the Swallow Field Baptist Church.
