Pressure Buss Pipe Recovering After Gunshot Wound

USVI Reggae star Pressure Buss Pipe is recovering well after receiving a gunshot wound in St Thomas last weekend.

A rep for the reggae singer told Urban Islandz that he is in good spirit and is thankful the situation was not worse.

Pressure, whose real name is Delyno Brown, was shot in the leg why standing with friends in the Paul M. Pearson Gardens Housing Community late Friday (Feb 24). Two other persons were shot in said incident, leaving one dead.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired. They found music promoter and Pearson Gardens resident Shamal Smith, 24, unresponsive near Building 12, according to a V.I. Police Department news release.

Pressure Buss Pipe has since released a statement on Facebook thanking everyone for their support.

“just want to let everyone know that I’m soooo thankful and greatful for all the well wishes and prays that u been sending out…one thing I can say is that Jah wasn’t ready for me yet but he took my good friends life who always looked to me for a way out of the struggle…I woke up this morning and started to cry for the first time since the incident because of the flashbacks of me and my friend running for our life.”
