Maybach Music’s Rick Ross proves he is the boss by topping the 2012 hottest MC in the game.
Ricky Rozay beat out stiff competition from rap rivals including Drake, Kanye West and Nicki Minaj among others to make it to the top of the list via MTV poll.
Ross was followed by Drake in second place and West in third. Nicki Minaj replace her mentor Lil Wayne to take the number four spot, while Lil Wayne occupy the fifth place.
Speaking about the honor, Ross says, “I just got the news that I was voted the game’s Hottest MC, and man, it really means a lot to me, of course, but it’s an honor. It’s something I’ve been watching, something I’ve been a fan of forever. Of course, MTV, they run the game.”
