Celine Dion Wows Jamaica Jazz Fest [Video]

Canadian soul legend Celine Dion drew perhaps the biggest crowd Jamaican Jazz and Blue festival has ever seen to date.

“HELLO, Jamaica!” shouted Celine Dion to the huge welcome from the massive crowd that packed the Greenfied Stadium in Trelawny on Friday night.

Celine Dion opened her set moments after midnight with her single “I Drove All Night.” The crowd song along with her word for word as she went through a blind blowing set. She showed a lot of appreciate at the warm welcome and love she got from her Jamaican fans.

“I’m so excited to be here. We have been enjoying the beautiful weather, the friendliest people, the food,” she said.

“I have some making up to do for all that lost time. I can’t believe we’re really here in your beautiful country; the home of the great Bob Marley, the best place on earth to get an amazing plate of jerked chicken!. Happy birthday Jamaica on 50 fabulous years of independence,” she said.

The lighting was superb and her band was on queue throughout her hour long performance, in which there was four quick costume changes.
