D’Angel Pens New Novel “Love Triangle”

Dancehall diva turn writer, D’Angel, has penned a novel entitled, Love Triangle, due in stores next month.

Love Triangle will mark the first of two books written by D’Angel as part of a two-book publishing deal with Pageturner Publishing House.

Break Free will be the follow up book, which is a tell-all autobiographical effort slated to be released at year end.

D’Angel, whose real name is Michelle Downer, said Love Triangle is about three fictional characters Dylan, Brandy and Malcolm. Three different individuals from different walks and realities.

D’Angel said she is excited about the project. “This effort just tells a story that is designed for adults, so I am excited about it, and trust me, I can’t wait to hear what my critics have to say this time around,” she said.

“I know I did a great job. I’m sure my fans will love it, but it’s still my first book so it’s almost like the first time on stage, it can be a little unnerving,” she added.

Publishing house Pageturner’s Karl Larmond describes the book as “interestingly pulsating with adult content about adult subject matter.”

“I mean, let’s be real. This is not a kiddies story. This is a story for a mature audience. It’s not porn, soft or hard. We could call it dancehall with a soca undertone,” Larmond said.

Love Triangle will be available at all major books stores in Jamaica.
