You know what is unfortunate? Sean Paul has now proven he wasn’t intelligent enough to remember that not all persons who buy or listen to his music are his Twitter followers. That many of us just want to keep in touch via Twitter because he belongs to us and we are proud of him. However, he forgot that most of us are women who don’t take kindly to the historical swearing encouraging incest between men and their mothers much more women and their mothers. This guy just went off my charts within hours of my liking a free style he was doing with Rapper Eve. How much sorrier a personality can he be than trying to justify his actions rather than doing damage control? No wonder most of our artists can’t tell how large their following actually is. Stay overseas Sean, blood thicker than water, your people are over there.

  5. as a jamaican living abroad who like the sound of SP music and often times cussing off his critics from all over the world, I’m speechless as to how he thinks its only jamaicans who do not appreciate his style of music. there are people around the globe who dig your style while others do not, grow up and stop acting STUPID! I hate the way he calls out jamaicans as if its only jamaicans who critisize him. He was childsish to act like such a ghetto hoodlum, I’m done with him!

  10. Sean Paul – u mad? As a profesional artiste and potential role model in the industry you should really know and do better. There is no need to disrespect women – particularly mothers in order to condemn your critics! A great mind let’s people bashing slide off their shoulders and clearly you are not showing that you have one by sinking to this level! Sorry mate – but as of today, this Jamaican ain’t supporting you at ALL! To be honest – your recent album actually SUCKS! We don’t HAVE to like your music aiight? Back to dah flipping drawing board wid dat one and now if you are not liked blame you blasted self! DUMB move SP! Dumb move indeed!

  13. mi no have no problem with Sean Paul music… but as a Jamaican I feel he shouldn’t have said that cuz am sure its not only some Jamaicans that don’t like his music… every artiste have fans and people who hate their music or them personally. Careful yute yo betta than that.

  16. It’s a pretty immature and disrespectful response. In this case it’s was what was said and not how it was said. There is nothing wrong with venting or defending oneself but to respond with:” Su*k yu mada wid straw…” Like come on? Grow up and while you’re at it start dressing like a man, as opposed to a Sims character. Also, I agree that his music is influenced by pop music. There is the patois and occasional reggae beats in his songs but none the less, the North American influence is evident.
