LIME Drop Vybz Kartel’s Teacha’s Pet Sponsorship

As things turn for the worse for dancehall star Vybz Kartel, Telecom giant LIME has withdrawn its sponsorship from the deejays popular reality TV show, Teacha’s Pet.

Last weekend Urban Islandz reported that the deejay’s sponsorship is in limbo if more charges were to be laid against him, following his arrest on Friday (September 30) for ganja wrap.

LIME release a statement to the media just hours after law enforcement officials announced additional charges of murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of firearm.

“Due to the serious nature of the charges against Vybz Kartel, LIME has taken the decision to discontinue its broadcast of Teacha’s Pet on mobile TV with immediate effect,” the company said.

Kartel, born Adijah Palmer, preliminary hearing in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court was pushed back to tomorrow.

Will this be a premature end to Teacha’s Pet?
