Young Money boss Lil Wayne has been slapped with a $15 million lawsuit for allegedly stealing the hit song “Bedrock” which features Nicki Minaj, Lloyd, Lil Wayne, Tyga and Drake.
Done Deal Enterprise, who filed a lawsuit in New York, is accusing Weezy of copyright infringement.
According to Done Deal Ent, they created the song in 2009, which later peaked at number 2 on Billboard. The Georgia-base company filed the suit in the District Court for the Southern District of New York on July 29. The company also names Universal Music Group, Cash Money Records and Young Money Entertainment as defendants.
Lil Wayne has been ordered to appear in court on October 12.
