Kelly Rowland “Here I Am” Debuts No. 3 On Billbaord Charts

Kelly Rowland Here I Am album debut in the top 3 on the Billboard Hot 200 album chart.

The former Destiny’s Child third solo album came in at number 3 after first week sales tally.

The album is largely driven by the Lil Wayne assisted chart topping single “Motivation” that peaked at number on Billboard top 100 singles.

According to Nielsen Soundscan, Here I Am moves over 77,000 copies in its first week which is usually the highest selling week for any album.

The R&B singer’s 2007 album Ms. Kelly, peaked at No. 6 with 83,000 copies sold, while her 2003 solo debut Simply Deep opened at No. 12, moving 77,000 units.

Recently deceased British singer Amy Winehouse is also back on the charts, with her Grammy-winning album Back To Black jumping from number 9 to 4 this week after moving 54,000 units.

Winehouse passed away on July 23rd 2011 of suspect drug overdose
