Jah Vinci: “I Was Stifled In The Gaza”

Former Portmore Empire artist Jah Vinci has weighed in on his recent departure from group, where he said he was being stifled.

In an interview with Jamaican radio station IrieFM, Jah Vinci said since he departed the Gaza he has seen a boost in his career.

“Mi a fi yeah mi book out fi di year inno, thanks to Milla 9 and Corey Todd and the whole management team, this is not a joke talk, you will see for yourself,” Jah Vinci said in Jamaican Patois. “Since mi leave a whole heepa call a come in, so mi just a fi a wonder weh did a gwaan.”

Jah Vinci said since his departure from the Vybz Kartel lead Portmore Empire, he has been recieving several calls from big name artists wanting to work with him.

“Mi get calls from a lot of artist weh always waan fi work wid mi but never get the chance. Man like Tarrus Riley, Aidonia… Mi even get a call from Ryno.”

Jah Vinci Departed the Portmore Empire last month after his now manager Corey Todd severed business ties with Vybz Kartel.
