Urban Islandz NEWS: US base label N Da Dark Production recently signed dancehall artist Lisa Hyper as their new artist.
In a three year deal, Hyper will see N Da Dark managing her musical career.
N da Dark Productions, CEO, Ron Coleman said in a statement, “I saw she possessed the fortitude to persevere through adversity and humiliation, and if one can overcome humiliation and to do so with some amount of grace, that’s one of the greatest attributes that one can possess. That tells me a lot about her character, the fight in her, her work ethic, her ability to persevere and how far she’s willing to go in the music industry and life, for that fact.”
Lisa Hyper is former of Vybz Kartel lead Portmore Empire. She departed her former camp in 2009 due to some explicit photos of her that was circulated online.
Hyper will be shooting the video for her latest single “Get Mine.”
