Chris Brown Upset He Can’t Move on from His Past, Send Apology For GMA Incident

Although the infamous Rihanna beat down incident happened some two years ago, both Chris Brown and Rihanna are still being bombarded with questions related to the incident.

According to People Magazine, Chris Brown who earlier this week lost his temper after an interview on Good Morning America with Robin Roberts after being asked about Rihanna, is upset about that incident.

According to PEOPLE sources: “He’s been trying to move on from his past and focus on his music, and he’s finally putting out an album,” the source says. “Why can’t we focus on that? He makes great music and he loves his fans. He’s a good kid.”

Even before the live GMA segment, another source says rehearsals were “tense,” at one point causing Brown to “flip out” even before his appearance.

While appearing on BET 106 & Park, Brown issued an apology for the incident. Chris said: “I just wanna apologise to anybody who was startled in the office.

“Anybody who was offended or really disappointed in my actions, because I was disappointed with the way I acted.”

He added that anchor Robin Roberts had deviated from the “talking points” to which his camp had previously agreed.

She did this by asking questions about the case, rather than focusing on his new album, he said.

“And when I got back (stage) I just let off steam,” he explained.

“I didn’t physically hurt anyone, I didn’t try to hurt anyone.

“I just wanted to release the anger that I had inside me because I felt that I worked so hard for this music and… I felt like people kept just trying to take it away from me.

“So yes, I got very emotional, and I wanna apologise for acting like that.”
