Buju Banton Given The Green Light To Perform In Miami [Video]

. ..

Buju Banton fans are now in high spirit and may already start buying their ticket to see the Gargamel perform live in over a year. You can count on Urban Islandz to bring you coverage of the show.

Buju Banton was yesterday given the go ahead to perform live at a Miami concert later this month.

U.S. Judge James S. Moody, Jr., yesterday, December 1st, granted an appeal to the initial order denying the motion for permission to work on December 26, 2010.

Last week Magistrate Judge Anthony Porcelli denied that request, saying whatever financial pressures Banton faces do not outweigh the risk that he might flee.

Moody granted permission after Markus provided an affidavit from the security company detailing how the singer would be guarded during the concert.

Banton, whose real name is Mark Myrie was release from jail last month after spending almost a year behind bars. Reggae singer Stephen Marley played a pivotal role in putting up his home as condition for bail on Banton’s behalf.

Buju Banton trial ended in September in a mistrial after jury could not reach a verdict. A new trial is schedule to begin in February next year.
