Young Money rapper Lil Wayne was reportedly shut out of a Las Vegas party last weekend just days after he was released from jail.

Weezy was unable to get into a party at the Wynn Las Vegas during his visit last Saturday (November 6) because the hotel was nervous about what repercussions they would possibly face if the rap superstar–whose probation prohibits him from drinking liquor for three years–was found consuming alcohol.

According to reports, a rep from the Wynn told a member of the Young Money crew that if the New Orleans MC entered the property, he would be asked to leave. However, he never made an attempt, instead settling on heading to the Palms Casino Resort.

While in Vegas, Wayne was a surprise guest at one of Drake‘s shows.

Tuesday night, Drake performed the last show of his Light Dreams and Nightmares tour in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel. Tyga, Lloyd and Birdman were a few of the guests in attendance. With Lil Wayne fresh out of jail, there were rumors and speculation that he would be performing at this show. No one had an answer until Drake performed “Miss Me” and Lil Wayne ran out to join him on stage.

He later attended a “Welcome Home” celebration in Miami where the Grammy-winning rapper show his appreciation to fans for holding him down while serving out an eight-month sentence in jail by releasing a video tribute to them.

Though Lil Wayne has kept relatively quiet following his release from jail, the prolific rapper spoke out to share his love for his fans. Weezy recently recorded a “thank you” video for his Facebook friends, appearing on camera rocking boxy shades and a skull cap to express his gratitude for the support.

“I’m talking to all my Facebook friends. I think it’s like 14 million of y’all. Just know that’s 14 million thanks yous to y’all,” he said. “Everyone from WeezyThanxYou, you already know I love you. Thanks for the support. Couldn’t do it without you and I won’t do it without you. Love. Young Mulah, baby.”
