Gay Rights Group JFLAG Protest In Kingston Yesterday

Members of the Jamaican gay rights group JFLAG yesterday held a protest in Kingston.

The members of the group gathered in the Emancipation Park area to protest for what they say is to raised awareness to their right for tolerance.

The group held plaque cards that read, ‘separate hate from the Church’ and excerpts from the Jamaican National Anthem.

The Emancipation Park area has been the subject of Gays and normal citizens clashing over the last couple months. Urban Islandz last month broke news that citizens are complaining about gay prostitution taking place in the vicinity of the Park.
