Jamaica Music Museum In The Making

Jamaica Minister of Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Olivia ‘Babsy’ Grange announced earlier this week that there are major development is the long awaited Jamaica Music Museum.

Grange told Jamaican journalists, “We are moving ahead with the establishment of the Jamaica Music Museum.”

The minister also said that the Grammy Foundation was assisting with the digitalisation process. In addition, there were ongoing discussions with a Canadian university about collaborating to collate and digitalize Grange’s collection.

Jamaica has one of the richest musical heritages in the world, as people from all sections of the world have been touched by Jamaica Reggae music. The Music museum is a step in the right direction.
