The collaborative album Distant Relative by rapper Nas and Reggae artist Damian Marley ruled the number one Reggae Billboard spot for six straight weeks now.
The hugely successful album launched on May 18th, sold more than 57000 copies in its first week. The album peaked at number one on Billboard R&B/Hip Hop albums and also Billboard Rap Albums, making it Nas 10th top ten albums on the Billboard chart and Damian Marley second. The album features singles such as “As We Enter and “Strong Will Continue,” which are getting heavy rotations on radio stations.
Further down the chart at number 8 is Ziggy Marley “Family Time.”
