Reggae singer Anita Antoinette is looking to be the second representative from the genre to win The Voice.

Since Tessanne Chin’s memorable win on The Voice season five last year, there has been new reggae artists competing on the Emmy winning talent show The Voice.

Yesterday reggae singer Anita Antoinette performed a heartfelt rendition of Bob Marley and Lauryn Hill’s classic “Turn Your Lights Down Low.”

She caught judges Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton from early and by about midway Pharrell Williams and Adam Levin turned their chairs around.

She was then task with a tough decision of choosing her coach and she chose Gwen Stefani. She made a good choice since Gwen has collaborated with some big names in reggae in the past.
