Digicel Renewed Deal With I-Octane As Brand Embassador

Reggae/dancehall star I-Octane inked his second deal with telecom giant Digicel last week which will see him being brand ambassador for a second year running.

The “Burn Dem Bridge” hitmaker sign the deal during a ceremony at the Tracks and Records restaurant, Kingston last Thursday (November 29).

In a release sent to the media, Digicel’s Sponsorship and Activations Manager Shelly-Ann Curran said the company was extremely proud to have I-Octane as a brand ambassador for the second time.

“His unique style of music mirrors the youthful vibrancy and positive energy that is Digicel – making the relationship between Digicel and I-Octane a seamless and fitting one,” Curran said.

Curran said that Octane is an artiste who has raised the musical bar with uplifting and positive songs since his entry into the music business and one who continues to represent the Digicel brand positively.

I-Octane share similar thoughts about the cellphone giant. “Being with Digicel has developed and further pushed the music behind the I-Octane brand; I have learnt a lot and the experience has moulded me into being a better person, while propelling my music and career to an entirely different level,” he said.

I-Octane debut album Crying to the Nation is due in stores in January 2012.
