Beenie Man Performs at The Guardian Group “Keep It Alive” 5K Run in Montego Bay

Dancehall king Beenie Man made an appearance on stage last night in Montego bay for the Guardian Group “Keep It Alive” 5K Run after party.

“The doctor” was introduced on stage by one of Hitz 92 FM top radio personality Jennie Jennie. He made his grand appearance at 9:01 pm introducing Kantana. Beenie Man has been mentoring Kantana since 2014 who gave rise from his security guard job to the entertainment world. They began their show by performing songs originally done by Buju Banton and Vibes Kartel who are currently incarcerated. Beenie Man spoke about the love and respect he had for both artist.

The dancehall icon performed a large number of his hit tunes such as: “King of the Dancehall”, “Girls Dem Sugar”, “Who Am I”, “Romie” and “Old Dog”.

The event is held annually in aid of raising funds for Jamaica’s Health Sector. Hospitals to benefit from the charity event are University Hospital of West Indies, Cornwall Regional, Mandeville Hospital and St. Anns Bay Hospital.

Beenie Man performed long over his allotted time has patrons couldn’t get enough of him.
