Rihanna Received 7 Nominations For 2016 American Music Awards

Rihanna and Drake are on top of the music scene this year. The “Work” collaborators have a combined 20 American Music Awards nominations this year.

While Drake control the bigger slice of the pie with 13 noms, Rihanna is at second place with 7 and a number of them is because of their chart topping duet “Work.” There are plenty of rumors flying around this week claiming that the two have broken up so now everyone is looking forward to November 20 to see what will happen at the AMAs at the Microsoft center in Los Angeles.

“Work” is competing for a trophy in three competitive categories like “Collaboration of the Year,” “Video of the Year,” and “Favorite Song – Soul/R&B.” She is also competing by herself for “Artist of the Year” and “Favorite Female Artist” in the pop and R&B categories. Her platinum-selling album “ANTI” is also up for “Favorite Album – Soul/R&B.”
