Safaree Samuels Says He Dropped Nicki Minaj Lawsuit, Talks Meek Meek & Game Beef

Safaree Samuels dropped his lawsuit against Nicki Minaj and he is making it clear that no one threatened him or anything like that, it was just his decision to not go ahead with the suit.

The rapper/producer came into the public eye from his breakup with Nicki Minaj two years ago. But these days Safaree is starring on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood and also dropping mixtapes. He even had a social media spat with his ex-girlfriend over said lawsuit.

“I’d started a process and then I was like, ‘It is what it is,” Safaree Samuels told Rap-Up. If you want to deal with it like that, go ahead. I ain’t trippin’.’ I’m doing a lot and I don’t want to have to deal with depositions and courts and all of that. Ain’t nobody threatened me. Ain’t nobody make me do it. At the end of the day, I didn’t even wanna do it. I just know if it was me and the shoe was on the other foot, I’d handle it and just say, ‘Peace out. Here. Do what you gotta do. That’s it.’ But I just dropped it.”.

Safaree seems to be in a better place these days after going through a tough and bitter breakup. He dated Nicki Minaj for 12 years before moving out of the house they shared together in 2014. He also revealed that Meek Mill played a major role in their split. “[Meek] definitely was a big part as to why me and Nicki broke up,” he said.

As for the ongoing beef between Meek Mill and The Game, Safaree didn’t have much to say except for saying that The Game delivered the best diss track. “I don’t feel no sympathy for nobody who don’t care about me,” he added. “It is what it is.”
