Bow Wow Dropping Retirement Album Produced By Snoop Dogg

Bow Wow says he will be hanging up his mic but not before dropping one last album.

We’ve heard this from rappers before but Bow Wow, aka Shadmoss, seems very serious about leaving the game. The rapper has announced on social media that he is retiring and his last album NYLTH is in the works. The project will also be executive produced by Snoop Dogg, he announced.

“”Retirement only means that it is time for a new adventure” over 10 million sold. This the last one. THANK YOU,” Bow Wow wrote on Twitter over the weekend.

“I always said years ago i’d retire from music before 30. I just cant see myself at 30 years old rapping,” he added.

Seems this has been something that Bow Wow want to do for a while. The 29-year-old rapper also took to his Instagram page to downplay critics assumption that he will return after a while.

“Retirement only means that it is time for a new adventure over 10 million sold,” Bow Wow wrote. “This the last one. THANK YOU for the musical journey! #screamtours #over10miionsold #didwhatisaididdo #retirefromtherapgamebefore30 #blessed #princeofhiphop #sosodef #DPG “Im NOT coming back wearing the 4-5. ITS OVER.”

As for his last album, Bow Wow confirmed that it will title NYLTH and will be executive produced by himself and Snoop Dogg.

“NYLTH coming soon executive produced by Snoop Dogg and I. (Movie comes w/ Album) #thisthelastone #closingthechapter #retiringbefore30wasmyvision” he wrote on IG.

Bow Wow last album was back in 2009 title Jack City II which came a decade after he released his debut project Beware of Dog released back in 2000 when he was just 13 years old.

Since his last album, Bow Wow has picked up a number of acting roles including on CSI: Cyber which was recently canceled. He was also hosts of the now canceled BET 106 & Park.
