DJ Drama enlist the services of Ty Dolla $ign, Pusha T, and his close friend Meek Mill for his banger “Boyz in the Hood.”

The single embodies the essence of hardcore rap soul music. The Philly emcee raps about his ongoing legal issues including his probation violation and subsequent house arrest. Ty Dolla $ign raps about freedom while the G.O.O.D. Music emcee raps about from going to jail to living a lavish lifestyle.

Meek Mill delivered two fiery verses on the single which could work out good in his favor given his recent damaged reputation.

“Uh, sorry your honor if I was too arrogant / That money was staggering / They locked me PC with them trannies and rats / Man that sh*t was embarrassing
/ wenty-three hours in a cell by myself / Man you couldn’t imagine it / They fed me some sh*t I wouldn’t feed to my dog,” Meek raps.

DJ Drama is getting ready to release his first album in four years “Quality Street Music 2” on July 22. Sadly this new single “Boyz in the Hood” will not be on the tracklist.
