Beenie Man Gets Blast From Fans For Saying He Brought Dancehall To The World

Speaking with Winford Williams on OnStage, the dancehall legend is saying that there is no feud with the “Unruly Boss” deejay.

“Popcaan is my friend, Popcaan is my artist,” Beenie said. “Drake called me and called Blue and said he wanted to use a sample of ‘Ga A Tear Off Mi Garments’ on a song called ‘Controlla’ and true me is a man who don’t listen to radio or listen to whats going on. The last time I was at a dance and heard a new song with Drake and Popcaan name “Controlla” so when I heard Controlla I could not think in my mind that its the same song. So we signed the paper and Drake send and requested that I do an Intro and an Outro. So I did an Intro and send it and they put it on the album.”

Beenie Man also spoke about dissing a female fan on stage during a performance last week. The deejay apologize to the female fan.
